Google stock prediction: $321.47 bull, $220.44 bear

Google does not get a year-end price from a 103 percent cloud quarter. The Alphabet Class C close on Tuesday 3 November 2026 was $278.27. On the last 90 daily log-returns and 40 sessions through 31 December 2026, the bull is $321.47, the base is $256.35 and the bear is $220.44. The obvious reading is that the 29 October crash is still running. The next three official closes were $278.22, $278.04 and $278.27. Exhibit 99.1 still has no dollar for 2027 capital spending. A Malaysia plan announced on 4 November is a $15 billion slice for 2027 and 2028, not that missing company total.

The bull at $321.47 sits $0.42 under the 28 October close of $321.89. The upside case is a return to that print, not a new high. The base is under Tuesday because the average daily log-return is negative. These prices are the distribution maths, and they use Class C only. Class A is a different print and is not the spot.

Key facts

  • Official close: $278.27 on Tuesday 3 November 2026, up $0.23, or 0.08 percent, from Monday’s $278.04, on 23,372,330 shares. Open $279.19, high $280.34, low $272.00 (Nasdaq historical file, saved 4 November 2026).
  • Quarter ended 30 September 2026: revenue $127.577 billion, up 25 percent from $102.346 billion. Operating income $40.576 billion. Diluted EPS $2.12, against $2.87. Net income $26.170 billion, against $34.979 billion (Alphabet Exhibit 99.1, 28 October 2026).
  • Same exhibit: Google Services $96.302 billion, Google Cloud $30.709 billion, Search and other $63.350 billion, YouTube ads $11.207 billion. Cloud operating income $11.121 billion. Services operating income $39.157 billion.
  • Cash: equipment purchases $51.355 billion. Operating cash flow $42.290 billion. Free cash flow negative $9.065 billion, after negative $5.855 billion in the second quarter (same exhibit).
  • Other income and expense was a loss of $8.221 billion, including an equity-securities loss of $8.664 billion. The footnote puts the net EPS effect of that loss at $0.55 (Exhibit 99.1).
  • Averages: the 20-day simple average is $323.97 and the 50-day is $333.13. Tuesday sits $45.70, or 14.11 percent, under the first and $54.86, or 16.47 percent, under the second (Nasdaq historical file).
  • Call, not the exhibit: 2026 capital spending stays at $195 billion to $205 billion, and 2027 spending is still expected to increase significantly, with the dollar on the fourth-quarter call (Anat Ashkenazi, Motley Fool transcript, 29 October 2026).
  • 4 November 2026: Google said it will invest $15 billion in Malaysia in 2027 and 2028 (Channel NewsAsia). That figure is not in the 28 October highlights.

What just happened, and why the crash is the wrong tense

The session that repriced the stock was Thursday 29 October, not Tuesday. Class C closed at $321.89 on 28 October, up $5.06 from $316.83, then at $282.32, down $39.57, or 12.29 percent, on 93,133,890 shares. That was 2.63 times the 35,355,860 shares on the release day. The log-return is negative 0.13117, the largest absolute move in the 90 returns, and it was kept.

What followed was a pin. Friday closed at $278.22, Monday at $278.04 and Tuesday at $278.27. From the crash close the stock fell another $4.05, or 1.43 percent. From 28 October it is down $43.62, or 13.55 percent. FinanceFeeds reported the Thursday session as the worst day. The three sessions since have not extended it. The same-week recap separated Cloud at $30.709 billion, up 102.61 percent, from Search at $63.350 billion, up 11.99 percent. That split is still right. The year-end price is missing the 2027 dollar, not the cloud double.

The missing item is the 2027 dollar. Ashkenazi, senior vice president and chief financial officer, said the 2026 range of $195 billion to $205 billion was unchanged, and that spending is still expected to increase significantly in 2027, with details on the fourth-quarter call. Nine-month equipment purchases are $131.953 billion. If that range is spent, the fourth quarter is $63.047 billion to $73.047 billion. Holding the range is not a pause. Wednesday’s $15 billion Malaysia plan for 2027 and 2028, covering Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Elmina, is a fraction of that remainder. CNBC’s post said free cash flow had sunk and capex expectations had missed. The dollars are in the exhibit, negative $9.065 billion and $51.355 billion. CNBC rounds them to negative $9.07 billion and $51.36 billion.

Who is exposed

Class C holders are the account this path prices. The company issued 24 million Class C shares for $8.1 billion and 12 million Class A shares for $4.3 billion. Common-stock issuance was $12.371 billion, and $27.6 billion remained under the at-the-market program. Repurchases were zero for the quarter and the nine months, against $11.504 billion and $39.810 billion in the 2025 periods. The $0.22 common dividend, payable 14 December 2026 to holders of record on 7 December, is 0.08 percent of Tuesday’s close. It does not close the $57.83 gap to the bear. The $15.63 preferred dividend on 15 November is a different security. Noteholders took $28.7 billion of senior notes in the quarter.

Ashkenazi said the quarter ended with $265.1 billion of cash and marketable securities, including $90.4 billion of marketable equity securities, long-term debt of $125.1 billion, future purchase commitments of $924 billion, and pre-commencement leases of $152 billion. Those last two figures are maximum contractual amounts. A Class C holder is long the cash the equipment consumes. Brent Thill, a Jefferies analyst, told CNBC that cloud was the only business that beat, at 103 percent growth, and that everything else missed.

What the tape and the primary documents show

Tuesday’s $278.27 is $45.70 under the 20-day average of $323.97 and $54.86 under the 50-day average of $333.13. The five sessions including Tuesday ran from a high of $323.13 to a low of $272.00. The close is $44.86 under that high and $6.27 above that low. The prior five sessions bottomed at $275.35, and Tuesday finished $2.92 above that prior low.

The 2026 high close in the file is $399.04 on 13 May. Tuesday is $120.77 below it, or 30.27 percent. The file high of $404.47 on 18 May matches the top of the Nasdaq info range, $271.41 to $404.47. Tuesday’s low of $272.00 is $0.59 above that 52-week low. From the 31 December 2025 close of $313.80, Tuesday is down $35.53, or 11.32 percent. The endpoint lists Alphabet Inc. Class C Capital Stock on NASDAQ-GS, with a secondary field of $278.27, closed at 4:00 p.m. Eastern on 3 November. A premarket print of $281.98 at 6:05 a.m. Eastern on 4 November is not a close.

The close has broken both averages. The bull at $321.47 cuts through the autumn tape. The base at $256.35 and the bear at $220.44 sit under every close in the window, and under the 52-week low of $271.41.

What the named executives have said

Sundar Pichai, chief executive of Google and Alphabet, said in the exhibit: “We had a strong quarter and are now on a half-trillion dollar revenue run rate.” The same release says first-party APIs are processing nearly 32 billion tokens a minute, and that the Gemini app has reached one billion users. Query growth is the highest in five years. Search revenue grew 12 percent on the company’s rounding. He did not put a dollar on 2027 spending.

Ashkenazi’s sentence is the one the year-end path cannot replace. “We continue to expect our CapEx to increase significantly in 2027, and we’ll provide further details on our Q4 call.” She also said, “We had negative free cash flow of $9.1 billion in the third quarter, driven by our investments in CapEx.” The exhibit prints negative $9.065 billion. She tied the cash figure to a TPU inventory build and a $5.2 billion payment of a 2018 European Commission fine. Cloud backlog was $561 billion, with just over 55 percent expected as revenue over 24 months.

Ruth Porat, president and chief investment officer of Alphabet and Google, is the new named sentence, and it is not a capex guide. Channel NewsAsia quotes her on 4 November: “This investment aligns with Malaysia’s development priorities, providing the foundational computing capacity to deliver the upside of innovation across the country while adding local power and water resources as our operations scale.” The same report says Google plans to add more than 1 gigawatt of clean energy and to pay for the power the campuses use. None of that states a company-wide 2027 total.

Kurian told CNBC: “We are seeing extraordinary demand and strong growth from both AI labs, capital markets, financial service institutions, and enterprises.” That is a demand sentence. It does not say the $51.355 billion was enough. Fiscal.ai posted the growth rates the same evening: Search plus 12 percent, Cloud plus 103 percent, subscriptions, platforms and devices plus 11 percent, YouTube ads plus 9 percent, Network plus 1 percent, and Other Bets plus 8 percent. Those rates match the exhibit. The post is x.com/Fiscal_ai/status/2115540361280196907.

The fine, the share sales, and the power bill

The European item is a payment, not a new case. The $5.2 billion fine sits inside operating cash flow of $42.290 billion and helps explain free cash flow of negative $9.065 billion. It does not recur every quarter on the facts in the call. The equipment purchases can. Sixty-five percent of technical-infrastructure investment in the quarter was servers and networking, with lives of about six years, and 35 percent was data centers, with lives of 7 to 40 years. Zero repurchases beside $12.371 billion of stock issued is a choice to fund that build with equity while $27.6 billion of the program is unused. Pichai said the company had launched TPUs into space with Project Suncatcher. FinanceFeeds described that flight before the quarter. Four chips in orbit do not change a $51.355 billion equipment line.

CNBC’s LSEG comparison, which Alphabet does not print, was adjusted EPS of $2.67 against $3.02 expected, and revenue of $127.58 billion against $128.22 billion. The $2.67 is the exhibit’s $2.12 plus the footnote’s $0.55. Search was short of $64.96 billion. Cloud was ahead of $28.7 billion. The title prices use the close and the 90 returns, not those estimates.

Bull, base and bear

The title prices are the house formula, not a street target and not the Malaysia plan. The inputs are the last 90 daily log-returns, from 26 June 2026 through 3 November 2026. Mu is negative 0.00205125. Sigma, the sample standard deviation with the n-1 form, is 0.02385979. N is 40, the sessions from 4 November through 31 December, skipping Thanksgiving Day on 26 November and Christmas Day on 25 December. The early closes on 27 November and 24 December still count. The square root of 40 is 6.32456.

Base equals the spot times the exponential of N times mu, which rounds half up to $256.35. Bull equals the spot times the exponential of N times mu plus 1.5 times sigma times the square root of N, which rounds to $321.47. Bear equals the spot times the exponential of N times mu minus 1.0 times sigma times the square root of N, which rounds to $220.44. The bull is above the spot, so the no-drift alternative, $348.96, was not used. The base is under the spot because mu is negative. That is the formula after a crash that dominates sigma. It is not a view that cloud revenue fell.

The 29 October log-return of negative 0.13117 is the largest absolute move in the 90. Dropping it would lower sigma from 0.02386 to 0.01960. It was kept. The year-end bull does not land within $1 of $360.67, $420.44, $310, $325, $485 or $460. Ten sessions, through 17 November, would print $305.29, $272.62 and $252.81. Fifteen sessions, ending 24 November, would print a bull of $309.96, within $1 of the banned $310, so that fallback was closed. Twenty sessions, ending 2 December, would print $313.44, $267.08 and $240.05. Those three paths stay unpublished.

Case Price Versus $278.27 What has to be true
Bull $321.47 plus 15.52 percent, or $43.20 The 31 December close finishes 1.5 standard deviations above the negative drift. That level is $0.42 under the 28 October close. It does not require a new high.
Base $256.35 minus 7.88 percent, or $21.92 The shares compound the average daily log-return for 40 sessions. No new guide is required. The base sits under the 52-week low.
Bear $220.44 minus 20.78 percent, or $57.83 The same drift, minus one standard deviation. A 2027 dollar well above the 2026 range, or a break of $271.41 that does not stop, can do that work.

What happens next

By the close on Wednesday 4 November 2026 the market prints the first official bar after the pin and after the Malaysia sentence. The premarket indication of $281.98 is not that bar. A close near $278.27 says the pin was the new level. A close back through $282.32 would be the first official break of it. Neither outcome supplies the 2027 company total. The fourth-quarter remainder implied by the 2026 range is still $63.047 billion to $73.047 billion.

By Monday 17 November 2026 the unused ten-session path is a bull of $305.29 and a bear of $252.81, still $26.60 under the 28 October close on the bull. Tuesday’s low of $272.00 is $0.59 above the 52-week low of $271.41. A session through $271.41 breaks that range. A session that holds above $275.35, the prior five-session low, keeps the pin. The preferred dividend payable on 15 November is not Class C.

By Thursday 31 December 2026 the title path is in force. The base at $256.35 is 7.88 percent under Tuesday because mu is negative and the crash session is inside that mean. The bull at $321.47 needs the extra 1.5 standard deviations and only recovers the 28 October print, not May’s $399.04 high close. The bear at $220.44 is the drift minus one standard deviation. The common dividend is payable on 14 December to holders of record on 7 December. Ashkenazi’s 2027 dollar arrives, on her sentence, on the fourth-quarter call. She did not date that call, and this horizon does not invent it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Google stock prediction into year-end?

The bull is $321.47 and the bear is $220.44. The base on the same 90 log-returns and 40 sessions is $256.35, under Tuesday’s $278.27 Nasdaq close, because the average daily log-return is negative. These prices are the distribution maths, not a broker target and not the $15 billion Malaysia plan. The horizon is the 31 December 2026 close. Class A is a different share and is not the spot.

Why is the bull only a return to the 28 October close?

Because that is where the formula prints. The bull is the spot times the exponential of 40 times mu plus 1.5 sigma times the square root of 40, and it rounds to $321.47. That is $0.42 under the 28 October close and $43.20 above Tuesday. The unused no-drift alternative was $348.96. This path does not chase May’s $399.04 high close.

Did the quarter miss, or did the equity loss do the work?

Both happened, on different lines. Revenue was $127.577 billion and operating income was $40.576 billion. Diluted EPS was $2.12 because other income and expense was a loss of $8.221 billion, including an equity-securities loss of $8.664 billion. The footnote puts the EPS effect at $0.55. CNBC’s adjusted $2.67 is $2.12 plus that $0.55. Negative free cash flow of $9.065 billion is cash. The equity mark does not explain it.

What did Google add on 4 November?

A country plan, not a company capex total. Channel NewsAsia reported $15 billion for Malaysia in 2027 and 2028, covering Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Elmina, and more than 1 gigawatt. Ruth Porat’s sentence ties the spend to local power and water. The 28 October highlights still have no 2027 dollar. Fifteen billion over two years does not replace a 2026 range of $195 billion to $205 billion.

Where is the close versus the moving averages?

The 20-day average is $323.97 and the 50-day average is $333.13. Tuesday’s $278.27 is 14.11 percent under the first and 16.47 percent under the second. It is $44.86 under the five-session high of $323.13 and $6.27 above the five-session low of $272.00. The prior five sessions bottomed at $275.35, and the close is $2.92 above that low. Both averages sit above a price that has already broken them. The break is the 29 October session.

Is negative free cash flow the same as a weak quarter?

No. Operating cash flow was $42.290 billion. Free cash flow subtracts equipment purchases of $51.355 billion and prints negative $9.065 billion. The second quarter was already negative $5.855 billion. Trailing twelve-month free cash flow was still positive $19.747 billion. Cloud operating income was $11.121 billion. The cash statement is the equipment bill. The path prices the pin near $278.

This is not financial advice.
